Triunions in Caesar II

by | 18.04.2025 | Case study

The second part of the post on this topic. The first one was about modeling triunions on arcs in AUTOPIPE – LINK.

Four variants were considered, which gave results that differed significantly from each other. In each variant, the shape and parameters are identical.

In the first variant, a triunion was modeled from the center of the elbow with a length of 300 mm and a support RS, LG 3 mm.

In the second variant, an RS support, LG 3mm, is used in the middle of the elbow.

In the third variant, an RS support, LG 3mm, is used at the beginning of the elbow.

And finally, with the fourth variant, an RS support, LG 3mm, is used at the end of the elbow.
